Once the painting is finished, can you ship it to me?
Certainly! I can ship the painting stretched and, if desired, with a frame, throughout Italy and Europe using professional couriers who also handle the packaging. The shipping cost is very reasonable, and insurance can be requested if needed, although in my experience there have never been any issues related to shipping. Typically, shipping times are between 1 and 3 days.
Can I pick it up in person?
Certainly! We can arrange a time in advance to organize the pickup at the studio.
Can I see the painting while it's in progress?
Is it possible to get references or testimonials about your work?
Certainly, no problem. For reasons of courtesy and privacy, I will first need to inform my clients. This way, you can reach out to them and be assured of the professionalism and quality of my work.
Are there any limitations on requests for reproductions of artworks?
No limitations at all! I have developed a technique that allows me to achieve excellent results with modern, contemporary, and classical works. As you can see from my portfolio, you can request complex pieces in various sizes, including sacred art, contemporary works, Pre-Raphaelite artists, and modern pieces. There are no limits to the types of works I can create.
There are many companies online selling art reproductions, but how can one trust the quality of the painting?
The web is full of companies, more or less specialized, offering various reproductions at all price points. You should be cautious because often, the reproduction being offered is simply a canvas print that has been painted over. My artistic reproductions are quite different; they are hand-painted directly onto canvas or wood treated with gesso, following traditional priming and preparation techniques. The quality and technical precision of my work are not comparable to those of printed reproductions. While painted prints have their own merits, my reproductions represent a different level of craftsmanship.
There are many websites online offering art reproductions. How can I navigate to determine the price?
Yes, the market is quite varied with different price levels that are not always linked to quality. It can be challenging to determine the value of an artistic reproduction; however, if the price is too low, it can be a red flag. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to contact me at my email address. I’m here to help!
Are the photographs on the site of reproductions or original paintings?
All the photographs on the site are of paintings I have created over time, not images downloaded from the internet.
Do you provide any documentation with the artistic reproduction?
Can I choose between a glossy or matte finish?
Yes, when placing your order, you can specify the type of finish you prefer: glossy, matte, or with a crackle effect.
Is it possible to customize the background of a portrait according to our preference?
Is it possible to request different dimensions, or are they standard sizes?
Yes, you can request any dimensions you like. It’s important to discuss with the client to determine the optimal size.
What is the time required for completion?
The timeframe varies depending on the subject, details of the painting, size, and finish. Generally, it takes about 3 weeks from the commission, but due to a high volume of requests, the time may be extended.
Is it possible to have the painting already framed?
Is it possible to have a color portrait if I provide a black-and-white image?
Yes, certainly. There are no issues with this. It’s helpful to specify the color scheme you would like for the portrait.
What techniques are used?
I primarily work with oil and acrylic paints, on either canvas or wood.
